Over 15% of Midland County residents are food insecure and live in poverty. This percentage continues to climb, and we don’t see an end to the need in the near future. A great many more teeter at the threshold, putting them at risk of being pushed over by a high energy bill, higher than normal prices for food, a medical emergency, a car repair or whatever may come their way.  When the teetering turns into a freefall, meals start disappearing.

Midland County residents may make an appointment to come to our pantry and receive groceries.  Our food pantry is held weekly, on Thursdays beginning at 10:45am ending at 2:30pm. We also have Thursday evening pantry hours, times will vary.

Appointments may be scheduled starting Monday the week of, at 9:30 a.m.  It is recommended that appointments be scheduled early in the week as we consistently reach capacity.
